Story Behind the Brand
I’m Danny Lee, a 35-year-old bespoke sneaker maker from Staten Island, NY. My creativity started with guitar at 12, then graffiti and painting walls across New York, later studying graphic design and launching a hat company. After exploring jewelry and wire wrapping, I found my true canvas in sneaker-making. Inspired by Deon Point of CNCPTS, I translate unconventional ideas—like your grandma’s house or The Matrix—into sneakers that tell stories. Using exotic leathers and hand-painted designs, I focus on emotion, texture, and concept. I’ve trained with The Shoe Surgeon, Golden Goose in Milan, and co-launched NRS Custom X to craft bespoke sneakers and teach workshops, sharing my passion for storytelling and inspiring future artists.
