THE CUSTOM CODE

Buying custom sneakers is a little different from buying a regular pair off the shelf. Every pair has its own story - some are made to order, some are one-of-a-kind, and some are ready to ship straight away.

ARTISTS

Artists paint on sneakers / sport shoes. Specialist leather / material paints are used and other preparation solutions.

CUSTOMISERS

Customisers usually are also artists but may alter parts of the sneaker by removing and / or adding elements. 

MAKERS

Makers are specialist creators with traditional cobbler / shoe making skills and can remake sneakers from sole up.

RESTORERS

Restorers are expert cleaners and repairers. Skilled individuals making sneakers like new using specialist techniques and solutions.

IN STOCK

Creators make a small quantity of sneakers in various sizes. If your size is available you can purchase for immediate delivery.

Note: In stock items can usually be made to order should your size(s) be unavailable.

MADE TO ORDER

Creators make the sneaker in the sizes(s) you require - subject to availability of base sneakers being used.

Note: Designs can be based on the materials ordered so quantities may be limited.

PRE-ORDER

Creator makes a product to pre order, in a limited quantity/order window. Once orders close the product is made & shipped.

Think of this like a limited edition drop.

CUSTOM BRIEF

Find your favourite Creator then use the custom brief form to easily send the them the specification of your sneaker(s).

Note: You can usually send sneakers / sport shoes you already have to creators.

OUTER SOLE

This is the bottom-most part of the sole that makes contact with the ground, featuring tread patterns for traction. While less frequently customized, it can still be dyed or painted by skilled artists.

TONGUE

This padded flap protects the top of your foot and prevents discomfort from the laces. It often features a brand or custom tag.

DUBRAES

These are decorative tags or plates, typically made of metal or plastic, that are threaded onto the laces, usually at the bottom. They are perfect for adding personalised branding, initials, or small design elements.

TOE BOX / VAMP

This front section covers and protects your toes. It frequently includes perforations for breathability, making it a prime area for painting or material swaps.

HEEL TAB

 This panel covers the seam where the medial and lateral heel counters meet at the back of the shoe. It is a common spot for branding, personalized text, or unique patterns.
