Product Details

Hand painted and full of pride. This shoe blends my creativity and skill with the passion I hold regarding my heritage and culture.

Being Latino is the truest part of me and what I do. It is at the forefront of everything that brings me pride. Depicting two different sunsets, one over water and one over land, these shoes were created to portray warmth, beauty and love. The skies on each blend back to the the heel each heel shows the materials used in the construction of homes. The wood and the stone are a vital element in the shelter created by Latinos in our countries.

One UA logo has elements of an Aztec calendar and the other takes inspiration from traditional Latin American garments. The pattern inside the logo can be found in dresses traditionally worn in Latin America. This inspiration continues on to the tongue. In it’s entirety this project is an homage to where I’m from and the blood that flows through my heart.
