These shoes are a statement that encapsulates us as a culture of its own. I\'m talking about the Bay Areaaa! When people ask where we from, we say the Bay because we all rep each other. So how do you say warriors without saying warriors? Use the colorway. Going with the hologram vibe set with the sc logo, I used color changing hologram vinyl to cover the base of the shoes but still accent the body lines, like a car. Yellow and blue for the Warriors, Orange and Black for the Giants and Red Gold for the Niners but look close and you\'ll see all the colors blend and change. Changing the back piece and tounge with an identical leather material but the base is painted in gold and the leather is red. The gold that was used was actual real gold leaf that reps the Entire Golden State of Cali and the prestige SC shoes demand. Even down to the laces, customized them in a way I never have before using leather and lace together with a twist of style. These shoes were completely gutted and sewn back together. Every stitch sewn with love and telling the story of my journey in customizing shoes from painting, to airbrushing, to recon and decon, to full fabrication. I broke about 5 needles and changed my mind like 7 times but I was determined to finish despite set backs and obstacles. Looking at this ptoject from a professional perspective, my thoughts were this could be inspiration to create a whole new line of shoes from SC that could open up doors for other professional players in other sports. These could be made for not just basketball but football, baseball and soccer. I\'m a creator and this is my passion, my story and my work all in one.
