Product Details

My design was inspired by the global game of basketball and the data visualization that Stephen helped transform the way that the game is played.

The vamp of the shoes reminded me of a 3 point arc, so I looked at statistical data and mapped 201 individually placed dots on each shoe, adding up to 402 to represent Stephen\'s NBA record for most in a season. There are also 5 pink dots, to represent each of the 5 game winning 3 pointers that he has made. As you move to the heel of the shoe it was inspired by basketball courts all over the globe and the game that is universally shared. You can see arrows, zig-zags, and X\\\'s and O\\\'s, which are part of the universal language of basketball.

As you go to the medial side, you will notice that the 4th laceloop is painted in blue. This represents both Stephen\'s 4 NBA championships as well as it being painted with Blue, Red and White to represent his #4 in the Olympics, but also the 2025 Olympic Gold.

On the tongue you will see that the logo is surrounded by 8 stars, one to represent each of the times that he has led the league in the most 3s in a season.

Also attached are some of my original sketches for a totally new and unique UA design as well.

By owning one, you’re not just buying a sneaker - you’re supporting emerging talent, championing creativity, and wearing a piece of global competition history.

A HISTORIC COLLABORATION

Created in partnership with Rakuten, brought together thousands of custom sneaker artists from across the US and Europe. With Rakuten’s support, the competition became one of the largest creator-driven sneaker showcases ever produced, giving emerging artists a platform on a global stage. From thousands of entries, just 100 creators were shortlisted by a world-class judging panel featuring leaders across sport, design, music, and sneaker culture. These Top 100 designs formed the Art of the Game Official Collection - a rare, curated snapshot of sneaker culture at its most innovative. The journey concluded in San Francisco, where the finalists were flown out for a filmed finale with the Judges. This finale marked a milestone moment: a celebration of creators, culture, and the evolution of custom sneakers as a legitimate art form. Now, for the first time ever, you can own a piece of this history. Each Top 100 sneaker - whether the original pair or a made-to-order version in your size - represents a creator who rose above thousands to earn their place in this landmark Rakuten x Stephen Curry series. This isn’t just a sneaker. It’s a piece of the Art of the Game legacy - and a chapter in the future of sneaker culture.
