The Story
Hi! My name is Brock Mullen. I am currently a footwear designer with experience designing for some of the largest brands in the world including Zara, Target, Gatorade, Cross Colours, Roots, Pyer Moss, and more. I attended the premier footwear design school, PENSOLE, where I learned design skills as well as the importance of story-telling within footwear. I think what will set me apart for this competition is I understand how to design shoes from scratch as well as how to customize them. Being a footwear designer has been my passion for almost 20 years, when I found out at 14 that it was a career that you could have. I would love the opportunity to be able to create something that tells a unique story for this contest and brings more than customizing the shoes to the table.
