Created in partnership with Rakuten, brought together thousands of custom sneaker artists from across the US and Europe. With Rakuten’s support, the competition became one of the largest creator-driven sneaker showcases ever produced, giving emerging artists a platform on a global stage. From thousands of entries, just 100 creators were shortlisted by a world-class judging panel featuring leaders across sport, design, music, and sneaker culture. These Top 100 designs formed the Art of the Game Official Collection - a rare, curated snapshot of sneaker culture at its most innovative. The journey concluded in San Francisco, where the finalists were flown out for a filmed finale with the Judges. This finale marked a milestone moment: a celebration of creators, culture, and the evolution of custom sneakers as a legitimate art form. Now, for the first time ever, you can own a piece of this history. Each Top 100 sneaker - whether the original pair or a made-to-order version in your size - represents a creator who rose above thousands to earn their place in this landmark Rakuten x Stephen Curry series. This isn’t just a sneaker. It’s a piece of the Art of the Game legacy - and a chapter in the future of sneaker culture.

What's HER Net Worth?
Product Details
Hi Judges! My design is inspired by the strength of women. It\'s based off my series of paintings titled What\'s HER New Worth? in which I use a basketball net as a stencil. The series shines a light on gender inequality, the important work that\'s been done & the work that continues to ensure equal pay & opportunity for our daughters, sisters & mothers. This is a culturally relevant topic and it feels good to be able to use my artwork to amplify this message and inspire others. When I paint on canvas I use spray paint. For these shoes, I used an airbrush to stencil the basketball net on the shoe. Since this sneaker design is about equal pay I hand-painted the word EQUAL on right shoe. I used the Under Armor UA logo to spell the word. It was kind of like a trippy version of Wordle lol. I searched the internet to see if this had been done before by UA and was kinda surprised to find out it hadn\'t. This gave me a little jolt!:) I also emphasized the EQ. EQ stands for emotional quotient (or intelligence). Humans with higher EQ\'s that possess empathy and self-awareness. These kinds of people fight for equality- FOR ALL. Another hidden gem is on the inside of the left tongue- I cut a basketball net into 2 small pieces, painted them and created an equal sign from the net-it\'s a nice little touch that only the person wearing the shoes is aware of. I feel like this is a high level art piece so the color palette reflects that. The base color is a rich sandy/camel that I immediately LOVED on the suede. The orange is a nod to the WNBA but also reads like a high end luxury accent color. The chocolate brown laces with orange flecks were specifically chosen for the same reason. I believe these are truly unique not just aesthetically, but also in the message. I gave this all I had mentally/physically, had a ton of fun and feel honored to be part of this competition. With love and appreciation- Shannon Favia
