Created in partnership with Rakuten, brought together thousands of custom sneaker artists from across the US and Europe. With Rakuten’s support, the competition became one of the largest creator-driven sneaker showcases ever produced, giving emerging artists a platform on a global stage. From thousands of entries, just 100 creators were shortlisted by a world-class judging panel featuring leaders across sport, design, music, and sneaker culture. These Top 100 designs formed the Art of the Game Official Collection - a rare, curated snapshot of sneaker culture at its most innovative. The journey concluded in San Francisco, where the finalists were flown out for a filmed finale with the Judges. This finale marked a milestone moment: a celebration of creators, culture, and the evolution of custom sneakers as a legitimate art form. Now, for the first time ever, you can own a piece of this history. Each Top 100 sneaker - whether the original pair or a made-to-order version in your size - represents a creator who rose above thousands to earn their place in this landmark Rakuten x Stephen Curry series. This isn’t just a sneaker. It’s a piece of the Art of the Game legacy - and a chapter in the future of sneaker culture.

The House of Toby
Product Details
“The House of Toby.”
The pub. More than just somewhere to have a drink, it’s a social hub, a space of connection, conversation, and community. After a game of five-a-side, before or after watching your team play, or simply catching up with friends, the pub is where stories are shared and friendships deepen. For many, especially men, it’s one of the few spaces where real, honest conversation happens.
For me, it’s also somewhere I go to talk about ideas and share creative thoughts, a place that’s become part of my process as much as my social life.
The pub has always influenced my art practice. It represents identity, belonging and that shared cultural experience that’s so distinctly British.
These custom trainers, titled “The House of Toby,” are a continuation of that exploration. You’ll often see “The House of Toby” outside old British pubs, a small piece of pub heritage that nods to tradition and familiarity. I wanted the trainers to capture that same warmth and character.
Each element draws from the pub’s interior details: the heel takes inspiration from pub stained glass windows and incorporates the ‘SC’ motif; the Under Armour logo reflects the warm amber glow of pub lighting; the sides echo the heavy wooden panels found throughout classic interiors; and the toe box borrows from the intricate patterns of traditional pub carpets.
Every brushstroke is intentional yet imperfect, a reminder that they’re hand-painted, not printed or stencilled. ‘The House of Toby’ is my tribute to the pub. To craft, culture, and conversation and to the spaces where creativity, community, and ideas come to life.
