Created in partnership with Rakuten, brought together thousands of custom sneaker artists from across the US and Europe. With Rakuten’s support, the competition became one of the largest creator-driven sneaker showcases ever produced, giving emerging artists a platform on a global stage. From thousands of entries, just 100 creators were shortlisted by a world-class judging panel featuring leaders across sport, design, music, and sneaker culture. These Top 100 designs formed the Art of the Game Official Collection - a rare, curated snapshot of sneaker culture at its most innovative. The journey concluded in San Francisco, where the finalists were flown out for a filmed finale with the Judges. This finale marked a milestone moment: a celebration of creators, culture, and the evolution of custom sneakers as a legitimate art form. Now, for the first time ever, you can own a piece of this history. Each Top 100 sneaker - whether the original pair or a made-to-order version in your size - represents a creator who rose above thousands to earn their place in this landmark Rakuten x Stephen Curry series. This isn’t just a sneaker. It’s a piece of the Art of the Game legacy - and a chapter in the future of sneaker culture.

The First Ingredient Is Love
Product Details
When I was a child, my grandmother always made Lajcsi cake for me — a soft, layered dessert with chocolate, strawberry cream, and vanilla pudding. It was full of love — just like her. Even now, at 84, she radiates flow. She never searched for a special calling or hobby; she simply found joy and meaning in the everyday — in the small tasks around the house and in the way she cared for others. She taught me that without love, there is no flow — and that message became the soul of this sneaker.
The design was inspired by the layers of the Lajcsi dessert — the brown sponge, the strawberry pink, and the vanilla yellow blend softly into one another, just like life itself is made of layers: of memories, love, and perseverance.
The double laces symbolize the duality of the strawberry and vanilla creams — the same way love and dedication only feel complete when they coexist.
On one shoe, I painted my grandmother’s portrait in graffiti style, surrounded by hand-painted words like love and flow. This visual language connects her timeless wisdom to modern street culture, where expression and authenticity matter most. The words and tiny dessert motifs were created using special puff paint, giving them a tactile, almost edible texture — bringing back the softness of the original dessert and the warmth of the memory itself.
With this work, I wanted to connect heritage and performance, tradition and flow, and to show that inspiration doesn’t always come from something grand — sometimes, it’s quietly baked in the warmth of someone’s hands.
It’s a reminder that whether it’s baking, art, or sport, true mastery only happens when it’s done from the heart.
Because my grandmother taught me:
“The first ingredient is always love.”
