My design was inspired by wanting to uplift people’s spirits knowing that world needs all the positivity it can get right now while incorporating a little of myself and my family. Positivity can be spread without saying a single word…just wear the sneakers I’ve named “Positive Vibes”. As you navigate around the sneaker a message of positivity awaits you. The colorways were carefully chosen one to represent my hometown sports teams, the Ravens and Orioles and another displaying my favorite color blue. Both sneakers have a character to represent my zodiac sign, Leo. One sneaker displays several positive words to remind you that you are enough, powerful, strong and creative. Bravery is displayed through the eye’s of lion. There is the city skyline with a reminder to B’More Kind as well as a tribute to my nephew, tragically shot this past May. On the other sneaker there is a positive message that faith fuels purpose along with two impactful scriptures to remind you that God has a plan for each one of us and will help us through life’s adversities. The lioness character stands in strength and support to remind you to never give up. While playing sports adversity comes in many forms. If you love what you do, you will not give up when obstacles come your way. Lastly, the back of both sneakers display a message that goes together, to smile more. This may impact anyone who is walking behind the person wearing these sneakers and perhaps it will create a smile. During this creative process I used several techniques from old school pencil and paper to draw my characters to using a drill when my smiley faces wouldn’t cooperate. Once my drawings were complete I ventured over to do my computer based mockups. The challenge was getting my vision on a suede sneaker. To say the least it was a new experience for me but well worth it.

These Top 100 designs formed the Art of the Game Official Collection - a rare, curated snapshot of sneaker culture at its most innovative. The journey concluded in San Francisco, where the finalists were flown out for a filmed finale with the Judges. This finale marked a milestone moment: a celebration of creators, culture, and the evolution of custom sneakers as a legitimate art form. Now, for the first time ever, you can own a piece of this history. Each Top 100 sneaker - whether the original pair or a made-to-order version in your size - represents a creator who rose above thousands to earn their place in this landmark Rakuten x Stephen Curry series. This isn’t just a sneaker. It’s a piece of the Art of the Game legacy - and a chapter in the future of sneaker culture.
