Created in partnership with Rakuten, brought together thousands of custom sneaker artists from across the US and Europe. With Rakuten’s support, the competition became one of the largest creator-driven sneaker showcases ever produced, giving emerging artists a platform on a global stage. From thousands of entries, just 100 creators were shortlisted by a world-class judging panel featuring leaders across sport, design, music, and sneaker culture. These Top 100 designs formed the Art of the Game Official Collection - a rare, curated snapshot of sneaker culture at its most innovative. The journey concluded in San Francisco, where the finalists were flown out for a filmed finale with the Judges. This finale marked a milestone moment: a celebration of creators, culture, and the evolution of custom sneakers as a legitimate art form. Now, for the first time ever, you can own a piece of this history. Each Top 100 sneaker - whether the original pair or a made-to-order version in your size - represents a creator who rose above thousands to earn their place in this landmark Rakuten x Stephen Curry series. This isn’t just a sneaker. It’s a piece of the Art of the Game legacy - and a chapter in the future of sneaker culture.

P.S. 156 Street Balla
Product Details
My designed was inspired by the original roots of street basketball. My Dad taught my Brother and I how to play basketball on an outside basketball court a local church with the underhand toss to the basketball hoop. Any basketball goal we found in our neighborhood you would find my brother and I there. The backyards to the front yard we made our way to the court.
I would later develop those skills becoming the1st female to play basketball on an all boys basketball squad with my first church at the age of 12 years old.
I have always had a love for Art since the age of 5 years old. I started learning how to use the airbrush at the age of 21 years old. I am self taught. One art form I have always loved and researched since the early 1990s is Graffiti. I bought a Graffiti Book that comprised of photos of several images of Subway Trains spray painted with Graffiti in New York. I was always drawn to that creativity. I have family in New York and I have always wanted to visit to see this art form. I started to incorporate this style of Art into my own design style as an Airbrush Designer.
This Steph Curry Sneaker is a basketball shoe. The shoes made me think of how a lot of current basketball moves came from the original pick up games held on those asphalt tops. I can hear the sound of the basketball full of air hitting the broken small pieces of concrete. The sounds of the way the shoes would scrub the court and the sounds of the voices of guys trash talking and complimenting each player as they performed certain moves on the basketball court. I wanted to bring that same feel and look to the outside experience to this canvas.
