An eye-catching detailed 3D artwork created for a custom sneaker exhibition held in Paris
I was invited to participate in.
I represented on one side the character’s human face gradually dissolves into the symbiote, which fully takes over on the opposite side, forming the body texture inspired by Carnage. I added a lace tag engraved with “Carnage” and hand-painted laces in a deep petrol blue, referencing the dark, stormy atmosphere of the movie.
For this project, I introduced tactile elements for the first time, using different materials to intensify depth and realism, as the pair was a display piece. I added 3D details such as the dripping slime around the mouth, body textures, and tentacles wrapping around the toe. The result is a visceral multi-sensory artwork that invites a more immersive experience.
