I wanted the focus of this trainer to be the experimentation with the red dye on the sole.

As the base for the purpose of this shoe was always to be a story deeper than just the Akatsuki. I wanted to incorporate his past; killing his clan, his parents as well as the relationship with Sasuke. So all the red from the toe box, to the outsole represents all the blood shed. Also I had to add the dripping blood eye swoosh. I also threw some crow elements in there as well. Using materials such as netting, leather and spray paint throughout. I finished off the design with rope laces as I felt it was a good fit here, I also added the fire on the tongue tag for his fireball jutsu.
