Created in partnership with Rakuten, brought together thousands of custom sneaker artists from across the US and Europe. With Rakuten’s support, the competition became one of the largest creator-driven sneaker showcases ever produced, giving emerging artists a platform on a global stage. From thousands of entries, just 100 creators were shortlisted by a world-class judging panel featuring leaders across sport, design, music, and sneaker culture. These Top 100 designs formed the Art of the Game Official Collection - a rare, curated snapshot of sneaker culture at its most innovative. The journey concluded in San Francisco, where the finalists were flown out for a filmed finale with the Judges. This finale marked a milestone moment: a celebration of creators, culture, and the evolution of custom sneakers as a legitimate art form. Now, for the first time ever, you can own a piece of this history. Each Top 100 sneaker - whether the original pair or a made-to-order version in your size - represents a creator who rose above thousands to earn their place in this landmark Rakuten x Stephen Curry series. This isn’t just a sneaker. It’s a piece of the Art of the Game legacy - and a chapter in the future of sneaker culture.

Heros
Product Details
In a world full of chaos and turmoil I wanted to lean into the idea of a hero in hopes of reminding people that you are never too old to look up to those who inspire you. Whether that person holds a basketball, a paintbrush, or the lives of those they protect in their hands, having someone to look up to is not something we should outgrow. To tell this story, I primarily based the shoes around the fire department here in my home town of Orem, UT. People who put their lives on the line to protect and serve members of their community is one of the most heroic things I can think of and I know that others would agree. Whether it\'s my nephews pretending to be firefighters when its time to play or kids dressing up as firefighters for Halloween we see the admiration that kids have for these heroic individuals.
Breaking down the shoes -
• The main body of the shoes was based on the fire engines used here in Orem. I incorporated the silver accents and white striping seen on vibrant red seen on the engines here. On the heel I added the red stripes that are seen on the rear of the fire trucks as well as the darker red that the numbers on the back of the trucks use.
• For the tongue of the shoes I used the tan and neon colors seen on the uniforms of the Firefighters and the \"E30\" on the tongue tabs stands for Engine 30 as a tribute to Steph Curry. The white laces represent the ladders on top of the trucks and the color on the aglets are there to match the hose system attached to the ladder.
• The graffiti style of \"Orem Fire\" that spans across both shoes was my way of incorporating the artist into the heros of the shoes as a majority of my personal heros are other artists.
• The soles of the shoes are based on the tires on the fire engines with the black tires, the red accents, and the polished chrome finish on the rims all being portrayed here.
