Created in partnership with Rakuten, brought together thousands of custom sneaker artists from across the US and Europe. With Rakuten’s support, the competition became one of the largest creator-driven sneaker showcases ever produced, giving emerging artists a platform on a global stage. From thousands of entries, just 100 creators were shortlisted by a world-class judging panel featuring leaders across sport, design, music, and sneaker culture. These Top 100 designs formed the Art of the Game Official Collection - a rare, curated snapshot of sneaker culture at its most innovative. The journey concluded in San Francisco, where the finalists were flown out for a filmed finale with the Judges. This finale marked a milestone moment: a celebration of creators, culture, and the evolution of custom sneakers as a legitimate art form. Now, for the first time ever, you can own a piece of this history. Each Top 100 sneaker - whether the original pair or a made-to-order version in your size - represents a creator who rose above thousands to earn their place in this landmark Rakuten x Stephen Curry series. This isn’t just a sneaker. It’s a piece of the Art of the Game legacy - and a chapter in the future of sneaker culture.

FloTro CurrDoodle
Product Details
This is FloTro ‘CurrDoodle’. It was inspired by that childhood freedom we all felt during arts and crafts time and still feel when brainstorming ideas.
The upper mimics lined notebook paper symbolizing how great ideas often start as sketches or doodles. The vibrant golden yellow sole mimics the color of a pencil with a custom Under Armour pencil logo.
The yellow laces, blue tongue, and sock liner represent the sun and sky as a reminder that “the sky is the limit”
The colorful sticker like patches are called ‘CurrDoodles’. They were made to feel like something you’d draw in class when inspiration hits. Having them exchangeable, gives each person a sense of control so they are able to customize the shoes to a different pair each time they’re worn. Some of the CurrDoodles I created are custom Under Armour logos, my pencil pal characters, Curry’s Eat. Learn. Play foundation logo, and basketballs to name a few.
To top it off, the mini white board hang tag makes it so your message can shift with your mood. One day it might say “I can do all things”, the next “Enjoy the Journey”.
The box (concept) represents a pencil box like we used to carry back in school. I sculpted the box in nomad sculpt on my iPad and it took 70hrs and 6 mins to print.
This is my submission for the Art of the Game Sneaker Design competition. I hope you all enjoy
