Created in partnership with Rakuten, brought together thousands of custom sneaker artists from across the US and Europe. With Rakuten’s support, the competition became one of the largest creator-driven sneaker showcases ever produced, giving emerging artists a platform on a global stage. From thousands of entries, just 100 creators were shortlisted by a world-class judging panel featuring leaders across sport, design, music, and sneaker culture. These Top 100 designs formed the Art of the Game Official Collection - a rare, curated snapshot of sneaker culture at its most innovative. The journey concluded in San Francisco, where the finalists were flown out for a filmed finale with the Judges. This finale marked a milestone moment: a celebration of creators, culture, and the evolution of custom sneakers as a legitimate art form. Now, for the first time ever, you can own a piece of this history. Each Top 100 sneaker - whether the original pair or a made-to-order version in your size - represents a creator who rose above thousands to earn their place in this landmark Rakuten x Stephen Curry series. This isn’t just a sneaker. It’s a piece of the Art of the Game legacy - and a chapter in the future of sneaker culture.

FAITH OVER FEAR
Product Details
These shoes are more than a design—they’re a tribute, a reminder, and a celebration. The same weekend I found out I was accepted into the contest, I also learned that my dad had officially beaten cancer. Two moments that hit me hard in completely different ways, but both pushed me to create something meaningful. That’s where this pair comes in.
My dad has always supported my customs. He’s one of those people who lights up whenever I show him something new, and he’ll brag about my work even when I’m still in the middle of creating it. So I knew I wanted to make a design he would love—something that wasn’t just visually dope, but personally powerful.
The blue represents prostate cancer awareness, and the pink honors thyroid cancer awareness. Those colors aren’t random; they’re part of our story. They’re colors that symbolize strength, survival, resilience, and the quiet battles people fight long before anyone ever hears the words “you’re cancer-free.” This pair brings those shades together as a way to recognize both the struggle and the victory.
Rope laces were the perfect finishing touch—not just because they’re trending or clean, but because they’re something everyone loves, including me and my dad. They add that bold, confident feel, like the shoes are laced with purpose, not just style.
Every detail on this pair reflects a piece of the journey—mine as an artist, and his as a survivor. Creating these reminded me why I do what I do: to tell stories through my work, to make moments wearable, and to honor the people who inspire me the most. These aren’t just shoes. They’re a celebration of life, timing, and the blessings that hit you when you least expect them.
Most importantly, they’re for him.
