I wanted to create a pair that felt fun, expressive, and true to who I am as an artist. I didn’t have a lot of time to plan out a super detailed concept, so I decided to trust my instincts and freehand the entire design.
That ended up becoming part of the story. I leaned into a crayon inspired, abstract style. Something bold, colorful, and full of movement, just like the way Steph Curry plays.
My goal was to make the shoe look like something straight out of an artist’s notebook. Taw, playful, and energetic. No stencils, no tracing, just pure freestyle expression. To me, that reflects the creativity and unpredictability Steph brings to the game. This pair represents embracing instinct, trusting your hands, and letting the art flow. I’m proud of how it turned out, and I hope that energy comes through when you see the final design.
