Everything I put on these shoes are a reminder to who I am, and who we all are as a collective in this world. Through following our truth, being consistent to our passions and what we love to do, we inspire others to do the same. We grow and we elevate together.
On the tongue tags, I added the Yin and Yang for balance, and the earth to show that were all on this journey together. The stitched patches, slime, cuts, and bandaid represent the challenges along the way we face in our journey through action, but at the same time, it oozes out fire, and beautiful colors.
I wanted to go with strong, bold, words on all faces of the shoes, so that you REMEMBER who you are, and what you’re here to do. I wrote in graffiti style, my artist background, and added nostalgia cartoon feels to represent my roots as a 90s kid, which shapes and inspires my art to this day. With all these life elements mashed in together, you “Grow N’ Flow”.
