This pair of shoes is a true tribute to Italian cinema of the 1960s and 1970s, a golden age that featured Sophia Loren and Mastroianni, two icons who defined Italian cinema and made it famous worldwide.
I wanted to reproduce the faces and features of these two great actors on my shoes, capturing their essence and elegance. Sophia Loren, with her radiant smile and timeless beauty, was one of the first inspirations for this project. I sought to capture her sensuality and femininity, using warm, soft colors that evoke the atmosphere of films of the era.
Mastroianni, with his profound gaze and natural elegance, was another source of inspiration for me. I wanted to portray him with his characteristic expression, a mix of irony and mischief, which made him one of the most beloved actors of Italian cinema.
This pair of shoes represents my style, a blend of art, cinema, and passion. For me, customizing a shoe with this style means creating a unique and personal work of art that tells a story and evokes emotion. It means taking inspiration from the past and reinterpreting it in a modern and creative way.
Every detail of these shoes has been carefully crafted, from the choice of colors to the reproduction of the actors' faces. I wanted to create an object that was not only beautiful to look at but also meaningful, that told a story and made the wearer feel part of something special.
