One of Those Kids
My work reimagines iconic forms through fashion, sneaker design, sculpture, and installations—transforming them into bold, personal statements rooted in Black culture, identity, and innovation. I turn the familiar into the extraordinary: basketballs become canvases, hair becomes sculpture, and everyday materials become symbols of heritage and power. Each piece celebrates the rhythm, resilience, and brilliance of the Black community—challenging limits and redefining expression. My art blurs the line between fashion and storytelling, inviting people to feel, not just see, the work. It’s nostalgic yet futuristic, a celebration of where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re going.
