The Story
Evan is a 15-year-old Puerto Rican and Dominican artist and sneaker customizer from Bushwick, Brooklyn, now living on Long Island. He began customizing shoes at just 9 years old during the pandemic and has since completed over 250 pairs. His work has been featured on Complex Sneakers and he’s collaborated with Kids Foot Locker, MLB, CitiField, and Make-A-Wish. Evan has painted live at MLB All-Star events and created customs for stars like Pete Alonso, Jazz Chisholm Jr., and Jose Iglesias. Featured by The New York Times, ABC News, and Fox5NY, he also gives back—raffling sneakers for Cerebral Palsy Awareness in honour of his brother, Max. Now in high school, Evan continues inspiring through art, sport, and community.
