The Story
I’ve always loved creating – starting from doodles on notebooks, walls, and even sneakers. What began as a hobby grew into a passion for turning ideas into something tangible. That curiosity led me to shoemaking, where I could choose materials like leather, suede, and fabric to bring my visions to life. This evolved into GÜMBOY, a bespoke footwear brand inspired by childhood nostalgia. Each design tells a story, such as the Catbus sneakers with embroidered details and playful tones, or the Magikarp Sambas featuring layered blue fabrics that mimic waves and sashiko stitching. Through my work, I want to remind people to reconnect with their inner child, stay creative, and embrace a sense of wonder in everyday life.
