The Story
My name is Axel, and through AXELAB I tell stories on sneakers. It started as a game — painting a pair for myself — until I realized I could turn leather into a living canvas. Each piece is born from an emotion, a memory, or an idea I can’t keep still. Today, my goal is to push Italian custom art beyond the idea of “design on shoes” , to make it a language that moves people, makes them think, and leaves a trace. I don’t just want to decorate. I want to create something that stays, something with a soul.
