The Story
I'm Jean-Laurent Teplitsky of Bertier Customs, and my brand is the culmination of two decades of training as a classically trained bespoke shoemaker across ateliers in Paris, Spain, Japan, and England. I bring that high-craftsmanship tradition to modern sneaker culture, specialising in the complete deconstruction and reconstruction of cult classics, primarily the 1985 Air Jordan 1. Every bespoke pair is untouched by machinery except for a 1960s Pfaff sewing machine, consuming over 60 hours of labor to hand-cut and assemble premium materials like vibrantly hued Nile Crocodile skin sourced from my home in South Africa.All Sneakers
