Hand-painted
This category showcases sneakers as a wearable canvas. Each pair is meticulously transformed by Artists using a variety of techniques, from detailed brushwork and airbrushing to custom dyes and sprays and decals. The focus here is on surface artistry, turning a standard sneaker into a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art without altering its fundamental structure.
Reconstructed
Reconstructed, often called "customs," involve the artful dissection and re-assembly of sections of a sneaker. Creators (Artisans) deconstruct sections of the shoe to introduce new elements, swap panels with different materials, or alter the shoe's factory patterns. This method changes the silhouette and texture of the sneaker, resulting in a hybrid design that blends familiar elements with a new creative vision. Reconstructed sneakers may also include elements of surface artistry.
Bespoke Hand-Made
This represents the pinnacle of sneaker craft, moving from customization to true shoemaking. A bespoke pair is rebuilt entirely new from the sole up by sneaker ‘Ateliers’. These skilled craftspeople use an authentic "donor" sole from a factory shoe and create a completely new upper, hand-crafting patterns, cutting premium materials, and stitching every panel. This results in a bespoke hand made product with an unparalleled level of quality and detail.
